always expectGOD'S WORD AT THE CENTERWe are not a ministry that simply adds Christ to our curriculum, CHRIST IS OUR CURRICULUM, and guides all that we do in all subject areas. To accomplish this we use the Accelerated Christian Education program or A.C.E. throughout grade levels.

locally grownYour mascot is a chainsaw?Yep! We warned you we weren't like most schools, and to prove it our mascot is a chainsaw! Now you may ask why in the world a chainsaw. Because at Timbers we feel that God calls us to grow in Him and then to die to ourselves. The chainsaw is a symbol of our service to Him. As a healthy tree grows to full maturity it must lay down it's life in order to be used for building. We grow trees to be used for His kingdom. So make sure to sharpen those chains, and keep your bar oil topped off!

TIMBERS PORTRAIT OF A GRADUATE
At Timbers, we believe education is not merely about academics, but about shaping the whole person—mind, body, and soul—under the Lordship of Christ. Our graduates are not products of a system, but cultivated lives, rooted deeply like the towering trees of the Pacific Northwest, ready to stand firm and bear fruit in every season.
Rooted in Christ
A Timbers graduate is first and foremost grounded in the gospel. They know the Word, love the Word, and live the Word. They understand that Christ is not an add-on to life, but life itself. They are anchored in truth and grace, discerning in spirit, and unwavering in their faith.
Classical Thinker
Equipped through the timeless model of the trivium, our graduates know how to learn. They are grammarians who love language and truth, dialecticians who think logically and speak persuasively, and rhetoricians who communicate winsomely and beautifully. They don’t simply memorize facts—they seek wisdom.
Lover of the Good, True, and Beautiful
Our students are trained to see beauty in God’s creation, in literature, music, and art. A Timbers graduate appreciates the richness of Western civilization while engaging culture with a discerning eye and a redemptive voice.
A Leader
With humility shaped by Christ, our graduates lead and serve well. Whether in the home, church, or vocation, they joyfully take initiative and responsibility, seeking not their own glory, but the good of others and the glory of God.
Resilient and Ready
Raised in the forests of challenge and wonder, a Timbers graduate is hardy, joyful, and courageous. They are prepared to meet the storms of life with conviction, character, and compassion, knowing that suffering can be a gift and that all things serve the sovereign purposes of God.
