OUR PHILOSOPHY
At Timbers we place Christ at the center of our curriculum, and therefore we feel very passionate that any subject we teach comes from that same passion. We also get really bored when subjects are taught without passion. That is why we begin each year as a leadership team working on things we are both passionate about, and know enough about it to share with our students. This is why each year is different, and each year engaging to students.

Our Curriculum: A.C.E. School of Tomorrow

  • Integration of Biblical Principles (Scripture memory, wisdom principles)
  • Godly Character Training (A.C.E. characters, 90 character traits of Christ)
  • Mastery-Based Learning
  • Built-In Reinforced System of Learning
  • Individualized Learning
  • Development of Critical Thinking Skills
  • Over 50 years of development
  • In over 140 countries
  • Diagnostic Testing

A.C.E. also has some great online videos sharing more on the A.C.E. curriculum.

Our Philosophy
Christ-Centered

A. Teach all subjects as parts of an integrated whole with the Scriptures at the center. [II Timothy 3:16-17; Colossians 1:15-20]

B. Provide a clear model of the biblical Christian life through our staff and board. [Matthew 22:37-40, Matthew 5:13-16]
C. Encourage every child to begin and develop his relationship with God the Father through Jesus Christ. [Matthew 28:18-20; Matthew 19:13-15]

Classical
As we use it here the word “classical” refers to the structure and form of the education we provide. It also refers to the content of the studies.
A. Emphasize grammar, logic and rhetoric in all subjects.
B. Encourage every student to develop a love for learning and live up to his academic potential.
C. Provide an orderly atmosphere conducive to the attainment of the above goals.

Here are just a few of the things that we would love to teach your students:

Now all of these won't be offered every year, because that would be crazy! However, it is our hope that over the course of your child's education they get to enjoy several of these epic activities!

Students will also be able to participate in sports through the local public school. They will however, fall under any requirements that the local public school makes on students while participating in public school sports. There are also private christian leagues in our area that allow for students to join as well. These are competitive leagues and students can still have the potential to earn scholarships through these leagues.
